Community Involvement

Our community events are some most visible aspects of the Dubuque Jaycees, and for many people, the most valuable. We are very proud of our community events as they all are geared towards benefiting the citizens of the Dubuque area. Our goal is to be diverse in the events and projects we put on and support.

Check out our 2023 annual events below. Make sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see some very well-known past Jaycee events. We are always looking for new ideas on how we can serve the community. If you have an idea, please let us know!

3rd of July Fireworks
and Air Show

The Dubuque Jaycees, partnering with Radio Dubuque, hosts the annual Dubuque Fireworks and Air show. Both organizations are able to pay for the event through grants, sponsors, and parking and beverage sales. This year, 2023, marks the 37th year!

Millwork Night Market

This year, 2023, will be our sixth year participating in the event. The Jaycees have been serving up ice cold beverages at the beer tent each month. Put on by Wicked River Productions, this outdoor event has it all - music, food, vendors, and drinks. Market nights are held May - October on the second Tuesday of each month in the Millwork District, Dubuque.
